Text and Graphics are the two basic mediums used in the LBD environment.

Text is either typed into the message box or copy and pasted from a document on the participants computer.

The Text Message box and Picture URL text box can be used in the following ways:

• Some HTML tags can be used to enhance the text:

• Graphics is input as a URL either in the Picture URL box, or in the Text Message box. 

• When entered into the Text Message box, the URL is the means by which lectures are presented. All lecture slides are appended to a list of thumbnails (shown on the right) as the lecture progresses so that students can access them later during the LBD LearningRoom or MeetingRoom session.

• A link will be properly resolved when entered into the Text Message box and is the means by which tests are presented to the students, such as the Learning Styles Inventory, adapted from Kolb. 

• Links, when clicked on, open into another window by design.
