The Feedback Tool for GUIDATA is used in real time to display how participants relate to the group as a whole.  It is a Graphically Unwrapped Interaction Diagram Along the Time Axis. 

Each square in the diagram represents a participant sending a message. Each row is a minute of interaction. Each arrow is a message sent in response to a previous post by the receiver.

The GUIDATA© for an online class points to a very different type of interaction than during a face2face class.
