LBD Environment

The LBD Environment runs on a web server. The participants interact using browsers.

The online sessions take place in the LearningRoom, MeetingRoom and Office.

The LearningRoom has been designed to accommodate over forty students.  It has four breakout rooms in the Standard Edition.  Each breakout room is designed to accommodate over twenty students.

The MeetingRoom is ideal for group meetings in corporations, political action groups, and NGOs.

The Office is an effective way to meet students one-on-one, or coordinate with your staff before a session in the LearningRoom or MeetingRoom.  The Office is ideally suited for small groups (10-20 members) and is designed for the privacy of conversations.

The Content Manager, GUIDATA, archives and assessment tools support the LBD Environment.

The Content Manager is a tool to store text and images on the LBD Environment Server. It is used by both instructors and participants. The Content Manager is used to store materials for M&M Modules.

GUIDATA is a graphic tool to view the patterns of interaction in a session.

Assessment tools collect behaviors and feedback patterns to the participants recalling their level and style of participation.

A record of each session is kept in the archives. Participants and instructors can consult the archives.
