The size of the sphere is proportional to the number of messages received. The more messages received the larger the sphere.

The distance between the spheres is proportional to being a "neighbor" to the "group". The "group" receives the most messages (is the largest sphere of influence), and a participant who sends more messages to the group, becomes the groups closest neighbor.
